Graduating Class Notes
Parents can work (10-15 minutes) with their children over the summer to reinforce:
1. Upper case and lower case letter recognition.
2. Letter sounds.
3. Letter formation and number formation.
4. Writing their first and last name correctly.
5. Writing sentences and stories by using "temporary spelling".
6. Counting and number recognition.
7. Simple math facts (addition and subtraction to 10).
8. Time and money.
9. Sight words.
10. Reading - use the public library to get simple books.
