Childs Elementary School - Grade 5
Students were instructed to design a fish based on defining features of a real fish. Designs and patterns were to show repetition, movement, and detail. Parts were cut from color aid paper and glued to the black background. The concept of creating shape with color was the emphasis of this lesson. Students also looked at intensity of colors, vibration, and complementary colors.
