Childs Elementary School - Grade 5
Fifth graders practice radial symmetry using a compass. Papers are folded on diagonals and also in halves as guidelines. Students are instructed how to center and measure with a ruler to match areas to get an exact pattern. Color is applied with the idea of symmetry in color as well.
