Pointillism:  Based on Study of G. Seurat

Childs Elementary School - Third and Fourth Grades


The concept of pointillism is to create solid space by using dots of two or more colors in an area.  The colors mix from a distance, creating a new color.  Landscapes were drawn in pencil first, then filled with the colored dots.  See a picture by George Seurat and learn more about him.
