Students worked with a sketched plan before working with plaster wrap for the masks. A detailed drawing included color and a written description of their intended work. Students also explained why they made choices of animal/human, real/fantasy, and colors used. Masks are formed over models draped with paper towel, then wet plaster wrap is applied in two layers. Finished work is painted and decorated.
