Childs Elementary School - Grade 4
This work was based on the art of M. C. Escher. It is a math related project. The puzzle piece is created from a 2 x 3 piece of oaktag. A piece is removed from the left side and moved to the right and attached with tape. A piece is moved from the top to the bottom the same way. Pieces must be placed in exact place as the side they were removed from so they connect. The first puzzle piece is then aligned with the paper's edge and traced. All pieces then connect to fill the page.
